Our life is filled with plenty of questions and influences, which are often a single word or sentence. Sometimes the question is left up to the person asking themselves, and other times it can be answered by a best friend, parent, or guardian. A lot of times when you are having a hard time answering these questions, you find yourself taking solace in them as an escape from reality even more than usual for that time period. One such influence on my life is self-doubt. Emotions can do funny things to us and there have been many cases where I have done something that was not good enough because I was too afraid to stay true to myself despite knowing what was best for me. Sometimes I chose to go against what I know is best just because it was a time in my life when I was unsure or afraid of my worth. You need to ask yourself "What do you expect out of yourself?" It is constantly a question I am struggling with because no matter how loud or quiet the voice inside me is, it is always there. Self-doubt is one of the hardest things to overcome and I have found it to be something that everyone experiences in some way at some point in their lives. It is something that seems to come out of nowhere, yet it could be something building up over time until it finally manifests itself into doubt. The biggest tip I can give you is that you need to learn how to channel your doubt into positive constructive energy. Know what you expect out of yourself, and when you start doubting yourself, what you need to do is focus on achieving those goals instead of focusing on doubts. They are two different things and they will bring about two different outcomes if used properly. There are many people who doubt themselves and it takes on a destructive trait because many people will use it to not try or just to stay in their comfort zones. I want to talk about self-doubt with you and what I have learned about it. Self-doubt is something that most of us will experience at some point in our lives, but how can you overcome it? What is the purpose of self-doubt? I believe there is a purpose to all emotions we feel from negative to positive, and when self-doubt occurs you need to be able to channel it into something good for yourself.
